PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a battery module which suppresses generation of successive abnormal heating of batteries, while improving heat dissipation to batteries position at a corner or a nook, of a plurality of batteries housed in a housing unit.SOLUTION: A battery module 10 has: a plurality of columnar batteries 20a housed in a first housing unit 30 with good thermal conductivity; and a plurality of columnar batteries 20b housed in a second housing unit 40 with good thermal conductivity. The first housing unit 30 has a tabular base portion 32 and a hollow frame portion 34. The second housing unit 40 has a tabular base portion 42 and a hollow frame portion 44. The frame portion 34 is inserted in an opening 46 provided in the base portion 42. The frame portion 44 is inserted in an opening provided in the base portion 32. The first housing unit 30 and the second housing unit are thermally insulated by a heat insulation layer 50 or air. |
