Disclosed in the present invention are a thin film solar cell and a method for manufacturing the same. The thin film solar cell according to the present invention is characterized by comprising a substrate; a rear electrode layer formed on the upper side of the substrate; a light absorption layer formed on the rear electrode layer; and a bending control layer formed on the lower side of the substrate, wherein the bending control layer bends the substrate in the opposite direction to the curl of the substrate bent by the rear electrode layer to control the curling level of the substrate.
