<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the size of a fixing device without causing damage to a fixing belt.SOLUTION: A fixing device 18 according to the present invention includes a fixing belt 22 that is rotatably provided thereto, a pressure rotating body 23 that is rotatably provided and brought into pressure contact with the fixing belt 22 to form a fixing nip 31 with the fixing belt 22, a pressing member 26 that presses the fixing belt 22 toward the pressure rotating body 23 from the inside, a holding member 25 that holds the pressing member 26, and end caps 28 that are attached to ends in a rotation shaft direction of the fixing belt 22.
