PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a wavelength selection laser light source device which allows for selection of an emission wavelength, while using a single semiconductor laser light source emitting excitation laser light from ultraviolet to blue (wavelength 390-460 nm).SOLUTION: A wavelength selection laser light source device includes a semiconductor laser light source having a semiconductor laser element emitting excitation laser light from ultraviolet to blue, a light source side fiber for making the excitation laser light from the semiconductor laser element impinge on the incident end face, and an optical connector provided at the emission end of the light source side fiber, and a laser emission attachment having an optical connector connected detachably to the optical connector of the semiconductor laser light source, and a wavelength conversion fiber laser element for making the excitation laser light entering the optical connector impinge on the incident end face, and emitting laser light of a wavelength different from the incident excitation laser light from the emission end face thereof. The wavelength conversion fiber laser element is commercially available from SUMITA OPTICAL GLASS (Ltd.). |
