PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a quantum dot integrated body ensuring high photoelectric conversion characteristics by arranging quantum dots uniformly, and to provide a quantum dot layer, and a solar cell to which the quantum dot layer is applied.SOLUTION: Multiple quantum dots 1 having a particle size of less than 10 nm adhere to the curved surface of a support 3, having a particle size and a bandgap larger than those of the quantum dots 1, thus forming a quantum dot integrated body. A quantum dot layer B is formed by coupling multiple integrated bodies A, and a solar cell has the quantum dot layer B on the principal surface of a semiconductor substrate 1. Consequently, carrier transportation efficiency can be enhanced resulting in a solar cell having high photoelectric conversion efficiency. |
