PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pneumatic tire which reduces air column resonance sound and secures sufficient braking performance.SOLUTION: In a pneumatic tire having an asymmetric pattern, at least two circumferential-direction grooves are formed on vehicle mounting inner sides of tread, with the tire equator surface between them, and at least one circumferential groove is formed on the vehicle mounting outer side. A plurality of rib-like land parts are partitioned by the circumferential grooves. The negative rate of the vehicle mounting inner-side area is higher than the negative rate of the vehicle mounting outer-side area. In the rib-like land parts in the vehicle mounting outer side adjacent to the circumferential groove, there are a plurality of resonators having an air chamber part depressed toward the tire radial-direction inner side and a contraction part communicating with the air chamber part and the circumferential grooves. In the air chamber part, the tire circumferential-direction length is greater than the tire width-direction length, and the contraction part is inclined to the tire circumferential direction at an angle of 60° ± 10°. |
