PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical apparatus capable of performing operation in a control state suitable for an operation condition.SOLUTION: The optical apparatus includes: an optical part to which light is inputted, for applying predetermined processing to the light and outputting the processed light; an input monitoring part for monitoring intensity of the light inputted to the optical part; an output monitoring part for monitoring intensity of the light outputted from the optical part; a control part for setting a predetermined control value on the basis of at least one of intensity monitoring results of the input and output monitoring parts and controlling optical characteristics of the optical part; and an operation condition change detection part for detecting a change in an operation condition by which the operation part is to be operated. The control part switches the control state of the optical part on the basis of the detection result of the operation condition change detection part.
