The installation (100) has a determination unit determining occurrence of an operating divergence in an air injection system (14). An air flow modulating unit i.e. electrically driven fan (16), modulates the flow of air in an air extraction system (18) based on determination of the occurrence of the operating divergence in the injection system. The determination unit is provided with a flow rate sensor, a comparator and a damper. The injection system is opened in a room through a flow modulating device. The modulating device is selected from a hygro-adjustable nozzle and a damper (180). The damper is controlled based on the rate of carbon dioxide or rate of volatile organic compound in the room. An independent claim is also included for a method for regulating ventilation installation.
