Machine and method for forming containers from preforms carried by successive molds, the machine comprising at least:
- a mold loading station (20) for loading successive preforms (2) into successive molds (28), each mold (28) forming a mold cavity (40) having the shape of the container (1) to be produced,
- a forming station (64) for forming the containers (1) by injecting a gaseous or liquid fluid into the preform (2) contained in each mold (28) in order to expand said preform such that each preform (2) acquires the shape of the container defined by the mold cavity (40),
wherein the mold loading station (20) and the forming station (64) are distinct from each other
and wherein the machine comprises a transferring station (60) arranged between the mold loading station and the forming stations for transferring the successive molds (28) containing the preforms (2) from the mold loading station (20) to the forming station (64).
