1. A method for data processing, the method comprising:
receiving a request for a block of data sets, wherein the block of data sets includes at least a first data set and a second data set; storing the first data set to an input buffer; storing the second data set to the input buffer; determining a remaining portion (ELB) of an end of burst latency (EOB) allowable for processing the block of data sets; scheduling processing of the first data set by a data processing circuit according to a first scheduling algorithm based at least in part on the ELB being less than a threshold; and scheduling processing of the first data set by the data processing circuit according to a second scheduling algorithm when the ELB is greater than the threshold.
