The present invention relates to a battery mounting apparatus for an electric vehicle. The battery mounting apparatus of the present invention allows a plurality of batteries used for electric vehicles to be provided in one battery mounting part (16). First and second inner parts (20, 22), which constitute the floor of the battery mounting part (16), are separately provided, and the first and the second inner parts (20, 22) are reinforced by providing an additional reinforcing frame (30). A connection reinforcement plate (38) is further provided to connect and support the first and the second inner parts (20, 22) where the first and the second inner parts (20, 22) come into contact with each other. The reinforcing frame (30) is supported by a connection support bar (34) on a roof body (12), which constitutes the roof (10) of a vehicle. The connection support bar (34) extends from a reinforcement bar (32) on one side of the reinforcement frame (30) while being inclined downward to a front lower part. According to the present invention, the battery can be more effectively supported even if the battery is heavy, when a plurality of batteries are mounted in the one battery mounting part (16).
