The turbine (100) has a generator (120) i.e. pole synchronous generator, connected with a wind rotor (110), and a rectifier unit (130) for generation of direct current (DC) from output current of the generator. An inverter unit (140) converts DC created by the rectifier unit into alternating current (AC) with frequency of 16.7 Hz. The inverter unit comprises a control unit to control an output frequency of the inverter unit. A two-directional power measuring device is connected with outputs of other inverter unit for connection of a power supply network. An independent claim is also included for a power supply system for a power supply network.
