PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of manufacturing a sound absorber made from a rigid foam synthetic resin good in sound absorbency and having a light weight and adiabaticity.SOLUTION: There is provided a method of manufacturing a sound absorber made from a rigid foam synthetic resin by reacting polyether polyol (P) and a polyisocyanate compound (Y) in a presence of a foaming agent containing water, a flame retardant, a foam stabilizer and a catalyst, and the polyether polyol (P) contains a polyether polyol (A) having the hydroxyl number of 2 to 8, a hydroxyl value of 10 to 100 mgKOH/g, a random polymer chain of an oxyethylene group and an oxypropylene group, and the content of the oxyethylene group in the polyether polyol (A) of 20 to 60 mass%, and polyether polyol (B) having the hydroxyl number of 3 to 8, and the hydroxyl value of 200 to 700 mgKOH/g. |
