PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a collision prediction system which prevents a function for avoiding a collision with another vehicle approaching from the rear side from being improperly executed. ! SOLUTION: A collision prediction system 100 for predicting possibility of a collision with another vehicle approaching from the rear side at the forward of the traveling direction of an own vehicle includes a collision prediction unit 12 which predicts possibility that the other vehicle collides with the own vehicle on the basis of a current speed vector of the other vehicle, a speed vector of the own vehicle in a past position of the own vehicle corresponding to the current position of the other vehicle, and a current speed vector of the own vehicle. !
