The present invention relates to a train traffic condition guide system and a guide method thereof capable of maintaining safe operation by enabling a train driver to recognize the traffic condition of the train in advance by guiding the current location of a train and peripheral information to the train driver in real time. The train traffic condition guide system comprises a GPS module for confirming a GPS coordinate for a current location; a storage module for storing a map image in which tracks are displayed, driving path information including terminal information, and guide information in each point within a driving path of the driving path information; a control module for searching the driving path information in the storage module in response to the received input data, for generating output data to display a path image along the track by searching a map image based on the driving path information and the GPS coordinate received from the GPS module, and for generating the output data displayed in each point along the path image by searching the guide information; and an input and output module for transmitting the output data to the input and output unit and for transmitting the input data received from the input and output unit to the control module.
