An air conditioner of the present invention comprises an outdoor unit in which a compressor, a cooling/heating switching valve, an outdoor heat exchanger, and an outdoor expansion device are installed; multiple indoor units in which an indoor expansion device and an indoor heat exchanger are installed; first and second plate type heat exchangers including a heat recovery unit connected to the outdoor unit and the indoor units, and in which the outdoor heat exchanger is arranged to exchange heat between a refrigerant flow passage and a heat source water flow passage; a refrigerant parallel flow passage which connects refrigerant flow passages of the first and second plate type heat exchangers in parallel; a heat source water parallel flow passage which connects heat source water flow passages of the first and second plate type heat exchangers in parallel; a heat source water adjusting part which adjusts exiting/entering of heat source water of one of the first plate type heat exchanger and the second plate type heat exchanger; and a refrigerant adjusting part in which the heat source water adjusting part adjusts exiting/entering of a refrigerant of a plate type heat exchanger which adjusts exiting/entering of heat source water. Weak heating problem can be solved in indoor units in heating operation by preventing a refrigerant flow to one of the first and second plate type heat exchangers when cooling is mainly operated, and weak cooling problem can be solved in indoor units in cooling operation by preventing a refrigerant flow to one of the first and second plate type heat exchangers when heating is mainly operated. |
