The implant has anchorage portions (21a) comprising an axis (25) and a lateral surface (21d) with circular ribs (21f) including a rib vertex. The ribs are provided at certain distance from an implant end (21b) and completely enclose the axis. The rib vertex and the ribs have certain radial distance from the axis and arranged in an opening section. The radial distance from the axis is greater than measured radial distances of all positions of the lateral surface. The lateral surface is located between the implant end and the ribs. The ribs are located at the implant end. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a support (2) a device for forming a hole in a bone of a patient for receiving an anchoring portion of an implant.
