PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an elevator device capable of removing rust adhered to a surface of a rotating body of a brake gear.SOLUTION: An elevator device comprises: a hoist motor 8; a brake gear 10; and a control board 15. The brake gear 10 comprises: a brake disk 11 rotating together with a main axis 7; and a brake pad 12 for generating a frictional force for stopping and holding a car 1. The control board 15 starts rubbing brake operation when start conditions are satisfied, and in the rubbing brake operation, makes the brake pad 12 contact to the rotating brake disk 11 intermittently. |
