PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a simple cup for a beverage which has higher insulation effectiveness than expected from its wall thickness and can be held easily by one hand by attaching a cover to a cup body.SOLUTION: A cup body and a cover fitted to the outside of the cup body are formed of a deformable thin plastic material. The cover has a peripheral wall and a bottom wall for covering the cup body, and the peripheral wall has a contact part contacting the cup body tightly and a non-contact part separating from the cup body. The bottom wall has at least one of a contact part and a non-contact part. The contact part of the peripheral wall has an upper end contact part covering over the whole periphery of an upper end of the cup body and intermediate contact parts disposed on positions separated downward from the upper end contact part with intervals in the peripheral direction. The non-contact part of the peripheral wall has an upper non-contact part covering over the whole periphery of an upper part of the cup body at a lower side of the upper end contact part and an intermediate non-contact part disposed between adjacent intermediate contact parts which are continuous downward from the upper non-contact part. |
