PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sound image localization apparatus capable of guiding appropriate operations in accordance with various situations when a sight line of a driver is led to a predicted gazing point with a technique of stereophonic sounds.SOLUTION: A sound image localization apparatus calculates a predicted gazing point that is a gazing point at which it is recommended that a driver gazes during driving and outputs position information corresponding to the predicted gazing point to a stereophonic sound system, thereby localizing a sound image at the predicted gazing point via an audio system. Acquisition means 30a acquires travel-related information that is information related to traveling of an own vehicle, and calculation means 30b corrects and calculates the predicted gazing point to lead driving operation in accordance with the travel-related information on the basis of the travel-related information acquired by the acquisition means 30a. Then, leading means 30c outputs the position information corresponding to the predicted gazing point calculated by the calculation means 30b to the stereophonic sound system 51, thereby, utilizing localization of the sound image to lead driver's operation. |
