摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a holding element of a type of being activated by reduction of pressure and being economically and easily attachable to an existing manipulator.SOLUTION: The holding element for an industrial manipulator may be used for holding an object of high temperature, particularly a complex nylon laminate. The holding element comprises a first part connected to the manipulator and an elastically deformable second part directly acting on a holding object. The second part comprises a substantially flat base part and a peripheral part extending on periphery of the base part. The base part comprising a suction port via which the holding element is activated by reduction of pressure. In a first mode which is an inactivated mode and in which the peripheral part has not being deformed, the plane surface of the peripheral part and the plane surface of the base part is parallel, but located at different position. In a second mode which is an active mode and in which the peripheral part has being deformed, the plane surface of the peripheral part and the plane surface of the base part is identical on the surface of the holding object.
