This electrode which acts as the catalytic agent may be grooved on one or both sides or it may be perforated or etched or composed of sintered nickel powder. Both electrodes may be of identical construction and they are separated from one another by a microporous resin, nylon, or other material in which the electrolyte consisting of a solution of potassium hydroxide is entirely absorbed. |
