A package for tobacco products, particularly cigarettes, is provided with microcapsules (38) containing active ingredients which are released when the package is put into use. In particular, the microcapsules (38) are arranged between plies or segments (40, 41) of a multi-folded coupon (37). When this separate section is pulled out, the microcapsules are destroyed and aromatic substances are released.
