PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the internal structure of a hollow actuator the length of which can be reduced while keeping a required brake torque, and to provide a hollow actuator.SOLUTION: A hollow actuator 8 has such an internal structure 10 that the bearing 5 of the actuator 8 is not supported and fixed from the length direction (axial direction) but from the radial direction (orthogonal to the axial direction). The internal structure 10 is formed without providing any special bearing housing and a rear lid for housing the bearing 5. In particular, the bearing 5 is supported and fixed in contact with the inner diameter surface (brake inner diameter) 65 of a brake 6. |
