PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle periphery monitoring device which, even when a part of an image is distorted a lot with generation of a bird's-eye image, is capable of suppressing a discomfort felt by a vehicle operator.SOLUTION: When a vehicle is moved back, a bird's-eye image behind the vehicle is displayed on a display in the cabin. As another vehicle 11 being parked in rear of the vehicle, for example, approaches the vehicle ((a)→(b)→(c)→(d) in the selected figure), the cut-out range of the bird's-eye image is set variably. Though the vehicle 11 within the bird's-eye image is displayed deformed a lot when the depression angle of the bird's-eye image increases, adjusting the cut-out range of the bird's-eye image like this allows a more natural image to be displayed in comparison with a case of masking such an area with a mask image 12 (refer to (e) in the selected figure). |
