<p>A dust collector for a vacuum cleaner is disclosed. The dust collector (200) includes a dust collecting container (210) including a dust separating part (214,215) for separating contaminants from air introduced into the dust collecting container (210), a dust storing part (212,213) for storing the separated contaminants, and an air discharging part (214b,215b) communicating with the dust separating part (214,215), a filter (237) for filtering air discharged from the discharging part (214b,215b) of the dust collecting container (210), and a top cover (230) including a filter housing (236) providing a space for receiving the filter (237), and a filter support member (238) for supporting the filter (237). An inclined space is defined between the discharge part of the dust collecting container (210) and the filter (237), so that it is possible to uniformly collect fine dust over the entire portion of the filter (237).</p> |
