PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a recording medium for a printer which is particularly suited for use with a portable printer and in which a label is temporarily pasted on a pasteboard, and a method of using the same.SOLUTION: A recording medium 1 for a printer includes a band-like pasteboard 2 and a label piece 3 temporarily pasted on the surface of the pasteboard, and certain print information can be printed on the label piece. The medium has an apex part 4a on the upstream side of the pasteboard in delivery direction F and at an almost center of the pasteboard in width direction W, and a pair of bottom side parts 4b formed from the apex part, on the inner side of both edge parts 2a of the pasteboard at the downstream side in printing direction. The medium also has a slit 4 having a side part 4c formed contiguous from the apex part toward the bottom side part, and a perforation 5 formed from the bottom side part toward the edge part of the pasteboard. |
