<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To rationally dismantle a steam generator by reducing the work time for cutting a heat exchanger tube.SOLUTION: The dismantlement method includes the steps: cutting a barrel section of a steam generator into an upper barrel side and a lower barrel side; partially removing the lower barrel and a tube bundle external cylinder to expose heat exchanger tubes 5; inserting a wire 20a of a wire saw 20 into a clearance 5c between one straight line part and the other straight line part constituting an U-shape of the exposed heat exchanger tubes 5 and collectively cutting the one straight line part of the U-shape of the heat exchanger tubes 5; and similarly, collectively cutting the other straight line part of the U-shape of the exposed heat exchanger tubes 5.</p> |
