<p>The posey restraint (10) has a fixing bandage applied on a patient, which is provided with a belt strap attached to the bed and a waist strap encircling the waist of the patient. A central strap portion (12) is arranged in a longitudinal direction of the patient and back of the patient, so that the waist strap is crossed by the fixing bandage. An upper fixing element (26) is connected with the upper end of the central strap portion for preventing the upward slipping of the patient.
