<p>An expandable Ethernet ring network of the present invention connects a ring type Ethernet network to various types of other networks. To perform such connection, a first ring type network connected in a ring shape includes one or more expandable nodes (nodes with three or more Ethernet ports) and is connected to other networks via the Ethernet ports, not used in forming the first ring type network, among the Ethernet ports of the expandable nodes. Therefore, the expandable Ethernet ring network of the present invention enables an additional establishment of equipment without changing a previously constructed ring type network, integrate various types of the networks into a single network and manage the integrated single network.</p> |
