A mobile communication system capable of supporting a multi-antenna method is provided. The system includes: a digital signal processing device connected to a core system for processing wireless digital signals; and a plurality of wireless signal processing devices physically separated from the digital signal processing device for converting and amplifying digital signals received from the digital signal processing device, transmitting the signals amplified based on a multi-antenna technology using two antennas, receiving signals transmitted from a terminal based on the multi-antenna technology using the two antennas and transmitting the signals to the digital signal processing device. Here, each of the neighboring two wireless signal processing devices transmits reference signals with two different patterns when transmitting the reference signals to a terminal located in a boundary, and both the two wireless signal processing devices transmit a handover reference signal (R0) which is a criterion for determining whether the signals are handed over or not. |
