PURPOSE: A rubber composition for a tire tread is provided to improve modulus in an initial strain region, and improve braking performance on a dry road while maintaining rotational resistance. CONSTITUTION: A rubber composition for a tire tread includes 100.0 parts by weight of a raw rubber, 0-5 parts by weight of a petroleum-based oil, and 5-10 parts by weight of one or more petroleum resin selected from a C9 petroleum-modified C5 petroleum resin, an acrylated C5 petroleum resin, and a combination thereof. The rubber composition for a tire tread is mixed of the C9 petroleum-modified C5 petroleum resin and the acrylated C5 petroleum resin, with a mixing ratio of 3:2-2:3. The petroleum-based oil is aromatic. |
