PURPOSE: A multi paging system and a controlling method thereof are provided to perform a regular paging through a readjusted TMSI reassignment at a switch border area under the environment of a WCDMA(wideband code division multiple access) system. CONSTITUTION: A controlling method of a multi paging system comprises the following steps: providing a current terminal location information using an HLR(home location resister)(300) by the request of a VLR(visitor location resister)(100); receiving the current terminal location information of the visitor location register using a switch(500) which requests a reassignment of a TMSI(temporary subscriber identity) to a terminal(700); and performing a reassignment through a PSDB(physical subscriber database) name identity amendment of the temporary subscriber identity in a switch border area. |
