The present invention relates to a method for manufacturing a hollow fiber membrane and a high flux and high strength hollow fiber membrane manufactured by the same. The hollow fiber membrane is manufactured by the phase transition of a spinning solution including polyvinylidene difluoride and acetylation of methyl cellulose. The hollow fiber membrane manufactured according to the present invention has excellent water permeability and strength. Moreover, the hollow fiber membrane is highly pollution-resistant and thus maintains excellent performance even when used for a long period time.
