The present invention relates to a producing method of L-methionine using a biosynthesis process and a special enzyme process. In particular, the present invention relates to a method for producing L-methionine in high yield from precursors of L-methionine by an enzymatic conversion reaction under the presence of methyl mercaptan (CH_3SH). The method of the present invention enables a selective production of L-methionine that can be used for additives for feedstuffs and food, and used for base materials of medical and pharmaceutical products.
