PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inexpensive exhaust heat exchanger which prevents a temperature of an end of a casing 4 for covering of an outer periphery of a core 3 from becoming high due to exhaust gas 9, and which has a casing 4 formed of a material relatively low in heat resistance and corrosion resistance.SOLUTION: An end of a tank 5 is fitted in a covering manner to an end of a core 3 made of a laminate of a flat tube 2. An end of a casing 4 is fitted in a covering manner to the outer periphery of the end of the tank 5 so that cooling water 8 can be guided to an edge 5a of the tank 5. In this case, general stainless steel containing a relatively small amount of nickel is used for the casing 4, and highly corrosion-resistant stainless steel is used for the tank 5 and the flat tube 2. |
