PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a zoom lens in which the amount of aberration correction in correcting image blur is small while the entire system is compact and a wide angle of view is achieved, and high optical performance is maintained during a vibration reduction operation.SOLUTION: The zoom lens includes, in order from the object side to the image side: a first lens group with a negative refractive power; a second lens group with a positive refractive power; and a rear group comprising a plurality of lens groups. When zooming, the distances between adjacent lens groups are changed. An aperture stop is provided on the image side of the first lens group. At least a lens group Ls which is a part of the second lens group is moved in a direction having a component orthogonal to the optical axis to move the imaging position in a direction orthogonal to the optical axis. The focal distance fof the lens group Ls, the distance Tbetween an exit pupil and an image plane at the wide angle end, and the focal distance fof the entire system at the wide angle end are appropriately set, respectively. |
