METHOD FOR CONSTRUCTING CYLINDRICAL TYPE TANK

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for constructing a cylindrical type tank, capable of curtailing a construction period by eliminating interference between assembly work of an inner tank and cold insulation work of an outer tank bottom part.SOLUTION: A method for constructing a cylindrical type tank comprises a step of assembling a metallic inner tank by alternately repeating lifting of an inner tank side plate 9 by a jack-up device and mounting a next inner tank side plate 9 to the lower side of the lifted inner tank side plate 9 in the inside of a concrete outer tank. The method comprises the steps of: installing a legged trestle 8 for supporting the inner tank side plate 9 so as to straddle an annular region X which is on a base slab 1 and onto which the assembled inner tank is to be lowered; forming an annular part 13 for supporting the inner tank in the annular region X under the legged trestle 8; and replacing a leg 8a of the legged trestle 8 arranged on the inner side of the tank than the annular part 13 onto the annular part 13.
