PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an imaging apparatus which includes a vibration-proof mechanism excellent in space efficiency and drive accuracy and can be compactly configured.SOLUTION: In the imaging apparatus including the vibration-proof mechanism performing vibration correction by driving a front lens located closer to an object side than a prism in a front lens group located on the object side, the prism has a rectangular incident surface surrounded by a first side located on a side where a second optical axis deflected by the prism is extended on a first optical axis made incident from the front lens, a second side located on the side opposite to the first side, and a third side and a fourth side connecting the first side and the second side. The imaging apparatus includes energizing means for energizing a movable frame supporting the front lens in a direction approaching a prism holder supporting the prism along the first optical axis. The energizing means includes a pair of springs arranged in both side positions of the prism to sandwich the third side and fourth side of the incident surface of the prism. |
