ITO POWDER AND PRODUCTION METHOD THEREOF

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide ITO powder the powder compact of which is made to have the volume resistivity lower than before while dispensing with post treatment in a powder state thereof.SOLUTION: The ITO powder being a sample is packed in a sample holder belonging to an X-ray diffraction apparatus and the sample-packed sample holder is irradiated with an X-ray in a range of 2&thetas;/&thetas;=15-90 degrees to obtain a diffraction line. When a lattice constant, crystallite size and a lattice strain are refined by using the obtained diffraction line, the obtained lattice strain is within 0.2-0.8.
