<p>When a terminal transmits a signal to a pico base station, an access method, which is different from an access method used when the terminal uses, as a reception station, a macro base station, is used without increasing the amount of control information the base station transmits to the terminal. A terminal apparatus of the present invention communicates with a macro base station forming a first cell or with a pico base station forming a second cell having a smaller range than the first cell. When the terminal apparatus receives from the macro base station an instruction to communicate with the pico base station (S5), the terminal apparatus communicates with the pico base station by use of a second access method (S10) that is different from an access method used when the terminal apparatus communicates with the macro base station.</p> |
