The endcap (12) has a recess (17) for generating a connecting channel between front-side chamber openings (18) of a door sill (11). An abutment surface (32) is arranged for conditioning of edges of chamber openings of the door sill. The abutment surface is allowed to extend around the recess utilized for generating the connecting channel. An edge of the abutment surface is allowed to adjoin an edge (17b) of the recess. The recess edge is provided as a bottom-side edge section of the recess. An independent claim is also included for a door sill profile arrangement.
