PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem in which: in an image forming apparatus using a roll sheet, there is a case where the roll sheet is cut in a regular size or in a predetermined length to use, also the roll sheet is held by a plurality of conveying rollers to be conveyed; however, there is a case where abnormal conveyance occurs as the roll sheet slips against the conveying rollers depending on a type or a set state of the roll sheet; therefore, the roll sheet cannot be cut in the regular size or in the predetermined length.SOLUTION: A conveyance state of a roll sheet is detected, a conveyance error amount is calculated based on the detection result, and conveyance is performed in which the conveyance error amount is corrected with respect to the reference conveyance amount by conveyance means. After conveying a predetermined amount, the sheet is stopped temporarily to be cut by a cutter. As the conveyance error is offset in the corrected conveyance amount, the roll sheet can be cut in a regular size or in a predetermined length. Thereby, an image forming apparatus can be provided which records an image on a fixed size sheet. |
