CHANNEL DECODING METHOD AND ITS DEVICE IN SYSTEM USING LOW DENSITY PARITY CHECK CODE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a channel decoding method in a communication system using a low density parity check (LDPC) code.SOLUTION: A method includes the steps of: demodulating a signal transmitted by a transmitter; determining whether there is a punctured parity bit in the demodulated signal; determining the position of the punctured parity bit by estimating information related to a puncturing pattern if the punctured parity bit exists; and decoding data by use of the position of the punctured parity bit. The information related to the puncturing pattern includes a puncturing pattern obtained by taking a modulation scheme into consideration.
