Provided is a current detecting circuit which reliably detects an excess current flowing in a load without making the circuit configuration complicated and increasing the circuit area in a differential voltage circuit. The current detecting circuit is provided with: an input circuit which is connected to the current detecting node of a circuit a current of which is to be detected and outputs a minus current flowing in the circuit as a plus voltage; and the differential voltage circuit which compares the plus voltage outputted from the input circuit with a reference voltage and outputs the comparison results as current detection signals. |
