PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a neutral electrolytic solution requiring, on an occasion for removing a weld-burnt tissue from a stainless steel surface, no special power source device using AC/DC currents provided by compounding AC and DC and capable of inhibiting the generation of harmful hexavalent chromium without adding a reducing agent inducing the coloration of the stainless steel surface.SOLUTION: A stainless steel surface is electrolytically polished with a neutral electrolytic solution obtained by adding a polyalcohol to a citrate so as to remove therefrom a weld-burnt tissue. It accordingly becomes possible to inhibit, even if the electrolytic polish is performed with a DC by using a neutral electrolytic solution, the generation of harmful hexavalent chromium and to improve the safety and hygiene of a work site environment. |
