<p>The laser pulses with defined transmission repetition frequency (fPulse) are emitted toward surface of filling material. The reflected laser pulses received from surface of filling material are scanned and the sample values are combined to form an echo curve. The actual signal characteristic of the reflected pulse is analyzed, based on echo curve. The actual signal waveform is compared with desired waveform. The echo curve determined measured value is used only to determine the level, if the actual and set signal waveforms match in a preset tolerance range. Independent claims are included for the following: (1) device for laser-based determination of level of filling material in container; and (2) system for laser-based determination of level of filling material in container.</p> |
