摘要 The present invention relates to a liquid culture medium microdilution method to detect the production of Klebsiella pneumoniae cabapenemases (KPCs) and metalo-beta-lactamases (MBLs) from clinically separated gram-negative bacillus using various beta-lactamase inhibitors. The cabapenemase detection method is made of a Mueller-Hinton liquid culture medium which includes a diluted solution obtained by preforming a serial doubling dilution on imipenem or meropenem, and which includes or does not include aminophenyl-boronic (APB) acid, phenyl-boronic (PB) acid, cloxacillin (CLX), dipicolinic acid (DPA), or EDTA. The present invention proves that the liquid culture medium microdilution method, which uses imipenem, includes or does not include phenyl-boronic acid, cloxacillin, and EDTA, provides the most effective result of KPC and MBL detection.
