PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotary machine capable of effectively adjusting a clearance between an axle and a passenger compartment, and provide a clearance adjustment method of the rotary machine.SOLUTION: A rotary machine includes: a passenger compartment; an axle that is partially arranged in the passenger compartment; a detection unit that detects a relative position of at least one detection object portion in a vertical direction with respect to the axle in at least one of the upper part and lower part of the passenger compartment; a drive unit that moves at least one of the passenger compartment and the axle in the vertical direction; and a control unit that controls the drive unit according to the detection result of the detection unit. |
