This disclosure relates to recombinant alpha amidating enzyme protein that plays an important function in the body, and a method for preparing the same with high efficiency and high yield. To make human-derived peptide physiologically active, purified alpha amidating enzyme is required. Since highly purified human-derived alpha amidating enzyme, and a preparation method thereof according to the present invention may produce target protein in a large quantity while maintaining the activity, it may be useful for preparation of an agricultural or medical composition including alpha amidating hormone, calcitonin, growth hormone release factor, calcitonin gene related peptide, and various alpha amidated products. |
